Position: Legal Writer – Independant Contractor

Location: Remote Position

Role and Responsibilities: As an Experienced Attorney specializing in Legal Writing, you will:

• Research, analyze, and synthesize legal information to create well-reasoned and persuasive legal documents.
• Draft and review legal briefs, memos, contracts, motions, and other written materials.
• Collaborate with clients to develop effective legal strategies and arguments.
• Ensure that all written work is accurate, thorough, and adheres to established legal standards.
• Communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Compensation is based on a per-project basis.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Litigation experience is a must.
• 2 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on legal writing.
• Strong research skills and the ability to analyze and interpret legal statutes and precedents.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research tools, software, and resources.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Current Law license not necessary.
